Warner Home Video has announced that it will bring '
Smallville: The Complete Eighth Season' to Blu-ray on August 25, day-and-date with the DVD. The release will consist of four BD50 discs to house the 22 episodes of the season. Video will be 1.78:1 1080p, accompanied by a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track.
