Kino Lorber have detailed their upcoming Blu-ray release of Hubert Cornfield's thriller The Night of the Following Day (1969), starring Marlon Brando, Richard Boone, Rita Moreno, Pamela Franklin, and Jess Hahn. The release will be available for purchase on May 25.
Synopsis: Four professional criminals kidnap the teenage daughter of a millionaire in order to extort money from him. Keeping her in an isolated location, their plans become derailed when their personal demons and greed lead to a series of betrayals that culminate in a furious and explosive climax. Filmed in France, around Le Touquet. Cinematography by Willy Kurant (Trans-Europ Express, Masculin Féminin). Music by Stanley Myers (The Deer Hunter).
