Newly-launched label Fun City Editions has confirmed that it is preparing two '70s films for Blu-ray release: Frank Perry's Rancho Deluxe (1975) and Michael Ritchie's Smile (1975). The two releases are expected to arrive on the market early next year.

Rancho Deluxe

Synopsis: Cattle rustlers Jack McKee (Jeff Bridges) and Cecil Colson (Sam Waterston) steadily steal cows from wealthy rancher John Brown (Clifton James). When his two hapless ranch hands (Harry Dean Stanton, Richard Bright) fail at capturing the thieves, Brown calls upon the services of Henry Beige (Slim Pickens), a cattle rustler turned detective -- although Beige does little more than sit around all day. But as they continue to get away with their crimes, McKee and Colson become a little too confident.

Smile

Synopsis: The time has come for the annual Young American Miss Pageant in California. Executive producer Brenda (Barbara Feldon) focuses maniacally on the event, ignoring any complaints. While her husband, Andy (Nicholas Pryor), sulks, choreographer Tommy French (Michael Kidd) looks after the safety of the contestants. With all the girls trying to outdo each other, tension increases as the pageant drags on and the skeptical contestant, Robin (Joan Prather), takes the lead despite her reservations.
