For the week that ended on December 12th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Mulan (2020) topped the Blu-ray-only chart once again. Disney's live-action remake of its 1998 animated film, about a girl in ancient China who goes into battle disguised as a male, topped the charts on its release week and was in third position last week, while this week, it beat out several holiday-themed titles to ascend to the top once again. Mulan had an HD share of 62% and 8% of units sold were from the 4K UHD format.

Next up at number two on the Blu-ray-only chart is Universal Studios Home Entertainment's Dr. Seuss' The Grinch. The CGI animated film, an adaptation of the classic Seuss Christmas story about how the grumpy Grinch plots to ruin Christmas for the happy Whos of Whoville, features Benedict Cumberbatch as the voice of the Grinch, and is the third version of the story for the screen, and the second for Universal. In its theatrical release, the film made over $500 million, and it continues to make money still via the home video circuit, where various Blu-ray editions of the film are often seen high on the video charts. Dr. Seuss' The Grinch sold 96% as many units as Mulan, with an HD share of 44%, of which 4% came from the 4K UHD format.

Finally, in third place on the Blu-ray-only chart is Paramount Home Media Distribution's The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone. Francis Ford Coppola's all-new cut of The Godfather: Part III, involved a new 4K remastering of the film and had a limited release in theaters earlier this year. The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone sold 89% as many units as Mulan, with a perfect HD share of 100%.
