Scorpion Releasing will release on Blu-ray Brian Hannant's The Time Guardian (1987), starring Tom Burlinson, Dean Stockwell, Carrie Fisher, Tim Robertson, and Jim Holt. The release, which will be distributed by Kino Lorber, will be available for purchase early next year.
Synopsis: Two soldiers from another galaxy hundreds of years in the future (who have been in an on-going war with Cyborgs known as Jen-Diki) go on a secret mission that puts them in South Australia circa 1988. It's that old classic tale of fish out of water who have to fight deadly robots from the future. The Time Guardian features Tom Burlinson (The Man From Snowy River), Nikki Coghill (Dark Age), Dean Stockwell (Quantum Leap), and the late, great Carrie Fisher (Star Wars).
