Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has detailed the technical specs and special features for the three-movie pack '
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon / Curse of the Golden Flower / House of Flying Daggers Trilogy', which will be released on Blu-ray on July 14. Details for the two latter titles are identical to their previous separate releases.
'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' will have 5.1 Dolby TrueHD tracks in Chinese, English and French, with English and French subtitles. Extras include an audio commentary with Ang Lee and James Schamus, a featurette on a conversation with Michelle Yeoh, a making-of documentary titled "Unleashing the Dragons", and a photo gallery.
'Curse of the Golden Flower' contains a 5.1 PCM Chinese track, and Dolby Digital Chinese and English tracks, with subtitles in English and French. Extras include the making-of featurette "Secrets Within", and a featurette on the Los Angeles premiere.
'House of Flying Daggers' contains a 5.1 PCM Chinese track, and Dolby Digital Chinese, English, French and Spanish tracks, with subtitles in English, French and Spanish. Extras include a featurette titled "Creating the Visual Effects" and storyboard comparisons.
Note that 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' has not been announced separately for Blu-ray release in the US. However, an individual release has been announced for the UK (see
here) with a release date of July 6.
