Manga Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray Katsuhiro Otomo's classic animated film Akira (1988). The release will be available for purchase on December 7.
Synopsis: The definitive anime masterpiece! Neo-Tokyo, 2019. The city is being rebuilt post World War III. Kaneda and Tetsuo, two high school drop outs, stumble on a secret government project to develop new weapons - telekinetic humans.
