British distributors 88 Films have revealed that they are planning to bring to Blu-ray a number of new catalog titles. Amongst them are: Nowhere to Run (1993), Blind Date (1984), Short Circuit 2 (1988), and Murphy's Law (1986).
Murphy's Law
Synopsis: Years ago, police detective Jack Murphy (Charles Bronson) put murderer Joan Freeman (Carrie Snodgress) behind bars. But, when Freeman is released, she wreaks havoc upon Murphy's life. Freeman kills his ex-wife and other police officers, framing Murphy for her crimes. After he's arrested, the police handcuff Murphy to a thief, Arabella McGee (Kathleen Wilhoite). Still attached to Arabella, Murphy breaks out of jail, and the duo work together to find the real killer.
STREET DATE: FEBRUARY 22.
Short Circuit 2
Synopsis: Having rescued robot Johnny Five (Tim Blaney) from being destroyed by the military in "Short Circuit," Indian scientist Ben Jahrvi (Fisher Stevens) moves to New York City to become an American citizen. After struggling to sell a few toy replicas of Johnny, Ben must scramble to make more when Sandy Banatoni (Cynthia Gibb) orders 1,000 for her department store. With Johnny's help, Ben begins making the gadgets, but his plans are endangered when thief Oscar Baldwin (Jack Weston) steals Johnny.

Urban Legend
Synopsis: A university is beset by a rash of gruesome murders that resemble old urban legends. When her friend Michelle (Natasha Gregson Wagner) is killed by someone hiding in her car, Natalie (Alicia Witt) begins to notice the pattern. Her suspicions grow stronger when her own roommate is strangled to death. Soon the quiet college campus is transformed into hunting grounds for a maniac, and Natalie struggles to find the killer and stop the bloodshed before she becomes the next victim.

Synopsis: At Alpine University, one senior student will be awarded the prestigious Hitchcock Award for best thesis film, virtually guaranteeing the winner a film career in Hollywood. Synopsis: Everyone knows the legend of Bloody Mary, but when three high-school friends jokingly recite an ancient incantation for what they believe to be a harmless prank, a vengeful spirit is unleashed and their fate sealed. Later abducted by a group of intimidating high-school jocks, the trio is soon rescued, only to bear witness as their tormentors one by one fall prey to a deadly but unseen menace. Could it be their imagination or could the spirit of Bloody Mary truly have returned from the grave to seek vengeance for her death and make anyone who crosses her path suffer a horrible and agonizing death? Synopsis: A man goes blind when remembering his lost girlfriend, but the doctors can't find anything wrong with his eyes. They fit him with an experimental device which allows him to see with the aid of a computer interface and brain electrodes. Meanwhile, a taxi driver is taking young women up to their apartments, giving them gas, and performing a little fatal amateur surgery on them. Their paths inevitably converge, and the blind man must try to stop the psychopath. Starring Joseph Bottoms, Kirstie Alley, James Daughton, Lana Clarkson, and Keir Dullea.
STREET DATE: JANUARY 25.
Humanoids from the Deep
Synopsis: Scientific experiments backfire and produce horrific mutations: half man, half fish, which terrorize a small fishing village by killing the men and raping the women. Starring Doug McClure, Ann Turkel, Vic Morrow, Cindy Weintraub, and Lynn Theel.
STREET DATE: MARCH 15.
Darkroom
Synopsis: A psycho-killer is on the loose at Janet Templeton's family farm. When Janet's sister is brutally murdered, her boyfriend and her family become targets of the killer's psychotic and passionate aggression. "Darkroom" will take you to the edge of sanity and beyond. Synopsis: An escaped convict, Sam Gillen (Jean-Claude Van Damme) travels to a farm to search for money from an earlier heist. While out on the property, he meets pretty single mother Clydie (Rosanna Arquette) and her kids, Mookie (Kieran Culkin) and Bree (Tiffany Taubman), who are being intimidated by local land developer Franklin Hale (Joss Ackland). After falling for Clydie, Sam decides to stay and help defend the farm from Hale's thugs, despite the risk that it means for him as a wanted man.

Synopsis: French police officer Alain Moreau (Jean-Claude Van Damme) makes an astonishing discovery: Mikhail, a man who died recently in a breakneck car chase, is the twin brother he never knew. Teaming up with Mikhail's lover, Alex Minetti (Natasha Henstridge), Alain must now assume his twin's identity and go undercover to avenge Mikhail's death.

Thousands of tiny micro-bombs disguised within other manufactured goods are scheduled for departure from Hong Kong to America.
