Sony Pictures will add four new titles to its Blu-ray catalog. They are: The Notorious Landlady (1962), Under the Yum-Yum Tree (1963), Good Neighbor Sam (1964), and Operation Mad Ball (1957). The four releases will be available for purchase this December.
The Notorious Landlady
Synopsis: When her husband disappears, Carly Hardwicke (Kim Novak) finds it impossible to rent a room in her London apartment, since everyone assumes she's a murderer. Recently arrived American diplomat William Gridley (Jack Lemmon), however, has no idea about her reputation. Sparks fly between the pair, and Gridley rents the room. When his boss, Franklyn Ambruster (Fred Astaire), learns what Gridley has blundered into, he reproves him until he meets the lovely Carly. The two men try to clear her name. Directed by Richard Quine.

Operation Mad Ball
Synopsis: Posted in France, Pvt. Hogan (Jack Lemmon) falls hard for Betty Bixby (Kathryn Grant), a nurse who happens to be a lieutenant, which means they are forbidden to fraternize due to their ranks. Always one to skirt the rules, Hogan, with the help of his friend Cpl. Bohun (Dick York), cooks up a scheme to throw a clandestine ball for all the soldiers and nurses. But the two have their work cut out for them when the authoritative Capt. Paul Lock (Ernie Kovacs) starts breathing down their necks. Directed by Richard Quine.

Under the Yum-Yum Tree
Synopsis: Libidinous Hogan (Jack Lemmon) is a landlord who prefers to rent his rooms to attractive single females. Hogan is instantly smitten with a pretty new tenant named Robin (Carol Lynley), but realizes that he'll have to contend with Robin's boyfriend, David (Dean Jones), if he's to attain the object of his desire. He gets his opportunity when he learns that the couple's living arrangement is a pre-marital experiment to see if they would be compatible as partners when sex is out of the equation. Directed by David Swift.

Good Neighbor Sam
Synopsis: Sam Bissell (Jack Lemmon) is an advertising executive who loves his wife, Min (Dorothy Provine), and his family as much as he loves peace and quiet. When Janet Lagerlof (Romy Schneider), an old acquaintance, inherits a sizable fortune, Bissell is talked into pretending to be her husband in order to fulfill a legal requirement. Things get even more complicated when Ms. Langerlof is introduced to Bissell's employer, Simon Nurdlinger (Edward G. Robinson), as Mrs. Bissell. Directed by David Swift.
