Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray Cyrus Nowrasteh's Infidel (2019), starring Jim Caviezel, Claudia Karvan, and Hal Ozsan. The release will be available for purchase on December 15.
Synopsis: Kidnapped while attending a religious conference in the Middle East, American journalist Doug Rawlins (Jim Caviezel, The Passion of the Christ) is a hostage of the Iranian regime on trial for trumped-up charges of espionage. With no help from her State Department connections, Doug's wife Liz (Claudia Karvan, Daybreakers) decides to take matters into her own hands to find her husband and bring him home. Inspired by true events and ripped from today's headlines, Infidel casts light on the plight of the Americans currently held captive in Iran.
