Mondo Macabro will add to its Blu-ray catalog Jorge Grau's Blood Ceremony a.k.a. Ceremonia sangrienta (1973), starring Lucia Bosé, Espartaco Santoni, Ewa Aulin, Silvano Tranquilli, and Lola Gaos. The release is expected to arrive on the market this November.
The label has also confirmed that the upcoming release will feature the Uncut International Version of the film, as well as a shorter Spanish cut.
Synopsis: An ageing Countess discovers that the blood of a maid can temporarily restore her youth and great beauty. Then she falls in love with a dashing young soldier, but is compelled to kill again and again to maintain her attractiveness and prevent the secret getting out.
