Impulse Pictures, the genre arm of Synapse Films, has revealed that it plans to release on Blu-ray Masaru Konuma's film Flower and Snake (1974), starring Naomi Tani, Nagatoshi Sakamoto, and Hijiri Abe. Currently, the release is expected to arrive on the market on March 16, 2021.
Synopsis: The elderly Senzô Tôyama (Nagatoshi Sakamoto) orders his employee, Makoto Katagiri (Yasunori Ishizu), to kidnap and train his wife Shizuko (Naomi Tani) in order to break her pride so that she will submit to his desires.
