For the week that ended on September 26th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Hocus Pocus took the number-one spots on both the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales charts. While the 1993 Bette Midler horror comedy is always a family favorite during the Halloween season, this year it became one of the latest catalog films to receive a 4K UHD upgrade from Disney. Hocus Pocus had an HD market share of 27% and the new 4k disc made up 8% of units sold.

Next, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Rick and Morty: Season 4 took the second spot on both the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales charts, after having taken the top spot on both last week. This week, the duo's HD market share was 46% and they sold 88% as many units as Hocus Pocus.

Third place on the Blu-ray chart went to Paramount Home Media Distribution's Sonic the Hedgehog, which had a 61% HD market share and and sold 61% as many units as Hocus Pocus.
