For the week that ended on September 26th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's
Rick and Morty: Season 4 took the number-one spots on both the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales charts. The animated sci-fi comedy has become a pop culture juggernaut and now it becomes the first of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programs to top the disc charts.This week,
Rick and Morty: Season 4 had an HD market share of 60%.
Next up on the Blu-ray-only sales ranking was Stanley Kubrick's
Full Metal Jacket. The 1987 film that would prove to be Kubrick's penultimate feature has been given a brand new 4K transfer from Warner Bros, and sold 43% as many units as the fourth season of
Rick and Morty, while 88% of all units sold were on the UHD format.
Finally, Warner Home Entertainment's
Superman: Man of Tomorrow once again took third place on the Blu-ray-only sales list, selling 35% as many units as the latest season of
Rick and Morty.
