Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will bring to Blu-ray two new catalog titles: Joshua Logan's
Picnic (1955) and Paul Schrader's
Dominion (2005).

Synopsis: Labor Day weekend, and fresh off a freight train is Hal Carter, William Holden, a happy go lucky drifter who is looking for a brand new start in life. A robust, handsome showoff, Hal has come to Kansas to seek gainful employment in his old fraternity brother's family granary. But despite his high hopes and expectations, his ambitious plans soon go away when his sexual magnetism attracts every woman in town, including 19 year old Madge Owens, Kim Novak, the alluring young beauty queen who also happens to be attached.

Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist
Synopsis: Haunted by terrible acts the Nazis forced him to participate in, the disenchanted Father Lankester Merrin (Stellan Skarsgard) focuses his energies on helping with an archaeological dig in the northern part of Kenya. There, the crew uncovers a church that predates Christian missions into the area, but the discovery also causes strange events to start occurring -- including physical changes to a young, disabled boy (Billy Crawford), whom Merrin grows to suspect has been possessed by a demon.
