British distributors 88 Films have announced that they will add four new titles to their Blu-ray catalog. They are: 10 to Midnight (1983), Moon in Scorpio (1987), Shaolin Wooden Men (1976), and Spiritual Kung Fu (1978),

Shaolin Wooden Men

Once Jackie is old enough, he trains as a mute at a shaolin temple to learn the techniques that will enable him to one day avenge the death of his father. What he doesn't realize though is that he is actually training in the lair of the man he seeks to kill!

Jackie has to gradate and defeat a gauntlet of mysterious robotic wooden men who throw every kung fu style at him before he can even face up to his nemesis. In the wrong hands this knowledge could spell disaster so it's up to Jackie to track down the traitor and counter the deadly fight moves that the book has endowed upon the thief.

This early Jackie Chan gem lets him play the type of bumbling student role he perfected in Drunken Master and Snake in the Eagle's Shadow to great effect.
