StudioCanal: New 4K Restoration of La Haine Coming Soon

StudioCanal will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mathieu Kassovitz's La Haine (1995) with a theatrical release of a brand new 4K restoration of the film. In France, the film will return to local cinemas on August 5.

The studio has not yet revealed whether the new restoration will be released on 4K Blu-ray or Blu-ray.

Synopsis: Mathieu Kassovitz took the film world by storm with La haine, a gritty, unsettling, and visually explosive look at the racial and cultural volatility in modern-day France, specifically the low-income banlieue districts on Paris's outskirts.
