Kino Lorber have revealed that they will add two new titles to their Blu-ray catalog:
The Shepherd of the Hills (1941) and
Dark Intruder (1965). The distributors have also detailed their upcoming Blu-ray release of
Crackers (1984).
Crackers
Synopsis: After getting laid off, Weslake (Donald Sutherland) begins working in the pawn shop of stingy Garvey (Jack Warden). When Weslake's friend Dillard (Sean Penn) and his pal, electrician Ramon (Trinidad Silva), come in to retrieve Dillard's pawned guitar, Ramon makes a deal with Garvey to install a burglar alarm system. Realizing the system will make his job unnecessary, Weslake teams up with Dillard, Ramon, pimp Boardwalk (Larry Riley) and homeless man Turtle (Wallace Shawn) to rob Garvey's vault. Synopsis: In the Ozark Mountains a stranger, Daniel Howitt (Harry Carey), inexplicably helps several locals experiencing difficulties. Grateful, Sammy Lane (Betty Field) suggests that Daniel, who wants to settle in the area, buy land next to the Matthews family. Young Matt Matthews (John Wayne) is embittered over the stranger's suspicions concerning the mysterious death of his mother years ago. Mistrustful of Daniel, Young Matt soon learns that the older man is no stranger to his family.
