Upcoming Kino Lorber Blu-ray Releases

Kino Lorber have announced that they will ad four new titles to their Blu-ray catalog: The Raging Moon (1971), Britannia Hospital (1982), The Face at the Window (1939), and Fellini's Casanova (1976).

The Raging Moon

Synopsis: Bruce Pritchard (Malcolm McDowell) is a vibrant young man whose life is disrupted when he is severely injured during a soccer match and loses the use of both legs. Sent to a convalescent home, Bruce becomes sullen and withdrawn as he deals with the reality of his new state. However, when he meets another handicapped patient, the lovely Jill Matthews (Nanette Newman), he gains a new appreciation for life. The two quickly fall for each other, and begin a supportive relationship.

Britannia Hospital

Synopsis: The queen mother plans to visit Britannia Hospital, but administrator Vincent Potter (Leonard Rossiter) has problems to solve first. Outside, there's a union boss who won't let in any food trucks, and also a protest against private patients. Inside, the kitchen staff has joined the protest, and resident loony Professor Millar (Graham Crowden) is prepping a medical demonstration that's sure to shock the queen mum. Meanwhile, reporter Mick Travis (Malcolm McDowell) is secretly documenting it all.

The Face at the Window

Synopsis: In 1880, the criminal called "The Face" is responsible for a murderous rampage in France. When the Brisson Bank is robbed in Paris and the employee Michelle is murdered, the wealthy Chevalier Lucio del Gardo is the only chance to save the bank. Chavalier proposes to the owner M. de Brisson to deposit a large amount of gold, but in return he would like to marry his daughter Cecile. However, Cecile is in love with the efficient clerk Lucien Cortier that belongs to the lower classes and refuses the engagement. In order to get rid off the rival, Chavalier uses evidences to incriminate Lucien, manipulating the incompetent Parisian chief of police... 4K REMASTER.
