Spartacus 4K Blu-ray SteelBook Edition

Universal Pictures UK will release a 4K Blu-ray SteelBook Edition of Stanley Kubrick's film Spartacus (1960), starring Kirk Douglas, Laurence Olivier, Jean Simmons, Charles Laughton, and Peter Ustinov. The release will be available for purchase on July 20.

Synopsis: Spartacus, the genre-defining epic from director Stanley Kubrick, is the legendary tale of a bold gladiator (Kirk Douglas) who led a triumphant Roman slave revolt. Restored from large format 35MM original film elements, this action-packed spectacle won four Academy Awards including Best Cinematography and Best Art Direction.
