Scorpion Releasing will add five new titles to its Blu-ray catalog:
3:15 The Moment of Truth (1986),
A Small Town In Texas (1976),
Body and Soul (1981),
Night Visitor (1989), and
P.O.W. the Escape (1986). The five releases are expected to arrive on the market this summer.
Please note that technical specs and supplemental features to be included on these release have not yet been revealed.
3:15 The Moment of Truth
Synopsis: Violent crime is routine, organized drug trade runs rampant in the face of powerless authority, and a vicious street gang holds dominion with a savage reign of terror. A Small Town In Texas
Synopsis After serving time for a crime that he didn't commit, Poke Jackson (Timothy Bottoms) returns to his hometown in Texas. Poke hopes to reunite with his girlfriend, Mary Lee (Susan George), and their son, and move away to California. However, his plans are crushed when he discovers that his girlfriend is dating Sheriff Duke (Bo Hopkins), the corrupt cop who framed him in the first place. Out for revenge, Poke becomes determined to take Duke down by any means possible.
Body and Soul
Synopsis: Leon Johnson (Leon Isaac Kennedy) is a boxer who plans to study medicine, but, with his ailing sister, Kelly (Nikki Swassy), in need of costly care, he decides to earn a living in the ring. His rise is rapid, but Leon's newly extravagant lifestyle threatens his relationship with girlfriend Julie (Jayne Kennedy). As Leon approaches the sport's highest echelons, he faces increasingly tough decisions that test his loyalty to his family and himself.
Night Visitor
Synopsis: High-school student Billy (Derek Rydall) is a born liar who annoys his teacher, Mr. Willard (Allen Garfield). When gorgeous prostitute Lisa Grace (Shannon Tweed) moves in next door to him, Billy is fascinated by her -- and shocked when he sees Mr. Willard murder her.
