Vinegar Syndrome has revealed that it will add a number of new titles to its Blu-ray catalog. Amongst them are:
I Like To Watch/Sorority Sweethearts,
The Psychic Killer, and
Best Friends.
Old Dracula
Count Dracula has converted his castle into a tawdry tourist attraction as a means of luring in unsuspecting visitors and draining them of their blood. But his dream is to find the perfect blood type needed to resurrect his bride, Vampira, back to the world of the undead. When one of his latest guests turns out to have blood that's a perfect match, Dracula is over the moon, until a lab error results in an unexpected change to beloved Vampira: she's been unintentionally transformed into a soul sister! Determined to restore his wife's original skin tone, Dracula travels to London in search of the girl responsible for the mishap, much to Vampira's dismay.
A creative mix of vampire film comedy and a hefty dose of social satire from acclaimed director Clive Donner (What's New Pussycat), OLD DRACULA was first released as VAMPIRA and stars award winning thespian David Niven (The Pink Panther) alongside cult character actress Teresa Graves (Get Christie Love). Featuring gothically tinged cinematography by Anthony Richmond (Don't Look Now, Candyman), Vinegar Syndrome presents this early 70s British favorite in its U.S. Blu-ray debut, in a brand new 2K restoration.

The Psychic Killer
Synopsis: Arnold Masters (Jim Hutton) is a mild-mannered man who obsesses over his mother, but finds himself implicated in a murder he didn't commit, and is sent to an asylum. While incarcerated, a fellow patient teaches him the techniques of Astral Projection, also known as the Kirlian Effect, which is the ability to use his mind to control objects at will. When the real killer is found and Arnold is released, only to find that during his time in the asylum his mother has died, he vows vengeance against those responsible for setting him up and begins to use his powers to exact a bloody revenge.
Directed by character actor Ray Danton (Crypt of the Living Dead) and co-starring Julie Adams, Neville Brand, Aldo Ray, and Mary Wilcox, THE PSYCHIC KILLER is a mid 70s Drive-In classic that, despite frequent gore and a blood and nudity filled shower death scene, somehow received a PG rating from the MPAA and is presented here fully uncut and newly restored in 2K from its original 35mm camera negative.

I Like To Watch / Sorority Sweethearts
One of the more prolific, though sadly forgotten, filmmakers from the autumn of theatrical X rated films, presented here are two of Paul Vatelli's early features which amply demonstrate his technical skill and artful eye.
In I LIKE TO WATCH, shy young Laura (Bridgette Monet) lives in a Victorian mansion with her aunt. While her boyfriend (Mike Horner) presumes that she's saving herself, Laura is actually craving to explore her sexuality. After spying on the lascivious goings on in her house, she begins seeking out her own torrid experiences. Taking advantage of the vignette structure of the story to show off some of his finest camerawork, along with dreamy editing from Michael Zen, I LIKE TO WATCH co-stars Pat Manning, Linda Shaw and Little Oral Annie.
Shot back to back with I LIKE TO WATCH, SORORITY SWEETHEARTS follows the carnal hi-jinx of a group of lusty sorority sisters and their voluptuous house mother (Lisa DeLeeuw), over the course of one pleasure filled day…and night.
Both films are presented on Blu-ray for the first time, newly scanned and restored from their original 35mm negatives.
Directed by: Paul Vatelli
Starring: Bridgette Monet, Mike Horner, Little Oral Annie, Linda Shaw, Lisa De Leeuw, Herschel Savage

Pat, realizing that he's about to lose Jesse forever, becomes increasingly manic and unhinged, and it's not long before he begins exhibiting psychotic and violent tendencies...
A tense character drama that slowly morphs into an unsettling thriller focused on repressed obsession and PTSD, Noel Nosseck's BEST FRIENDS is one of the great overlooked post-Vietnam angst films. Featuring riveting performances from leads Richard Hatch (Battlestar Galactica) and Doug Chapin (Ladybug, Ladybug) along with stark visuals from acclaimed cinematographer Stephen M. Katz (The Blues Brothers, Messiah of Evil), Vinegar Syndrome presents this underrated gem to Blu-ray, from a brand new 2K restoration of its 35mm original negative.

A high octane action indie produced during the later craze of direct-to-video thrillers, co-directors Tony Kandah and Martin Morris' L.A. WARS packs in as many monster shoot outs, slow-motion squib explosions, gratuitous sex scenes, and explosions as possible. Vinegar Syndrome Archive presents L.A. Dr. Jekyll's Dungeon of Death
Dr. Henry Jekyll is the last in his family's line of mad, but brilliant scientists. Holed up in his ornate Victorian mansion in San Francisco, he has concocted a serum that, when injected, turns humans into crazed and violent fighters, with unstoppable strength and unquenchable bloodlust. But Henry has also kidnapped the beautiful daughter of his mentor, Professor Atkinson, whom he keeps as a prisoner, all the while his sister Hilda becomes the subject of his horrifying and rage induced torments. But when Professor Atkinson unexpectedly arrives, searching for his missing daughter, Henry's deranged world begins to unravel...
The only non-X rated title directed by mysterious filmmaker James Wood, DR JEKYLL'S DUNGEON OF DEATH traverses genres ranging from horror, domestic drama and brutal fight sequences, while boasting a surprising array of perverse and fetishistic torture sequences. Starring a mostly unknown cast, the film bounces wildly between overwrought camp and surprisingly grim and unpleasant abuse of its bizarre characters. A victim of poor quality VHS releases, which rendered its low lighting focused camerawork nearly impossible to make out, Vinegar Syndrome Archive brings this truly unclassifiable exploitation oddity to Blu-ray, newly restored in 2K from its 35mm negative.

Blood Games
It all started as a simple game of softball... When a women's softball team win a game against a group of rough talking and dirty playing men, they find themselves unwittingly involved in a new competition with much higher stakes: life and death. After being horribly attacked and assaulted by their male competitors, the women are forced to use both their wits and strength to escape their tormentors and avenge their teammates, but quickly find themselves trapped in a deadly cat and mouse chase through a nearby forest, where violence lurks behind every tree...
A shockingly violent revenge thriller that, despite its early 90s release date, is as unflinching in its brutality as the roughest exploitation films of the 1970s, Isreali director Tanya Rosenberg's BLOOD GAMES is a tense and action packed exploitation gem. Starring prolific stunt woman Laura Albert, alongside Ken Carpenter (Tammy and the T-Rex), Ross Hagen (Wonder Women), Gregory Scott Cummins (Hack-O-Lantern), and cult character actor George 'Buck' Flower (Berserker), Vinegar Syndrome proudly presents the long overdue disc debut of BLOOD GAMES, in a brand new 2K restoration.
Special Features and Technical Specs:
- NEW 2K RESTORATION FROM THE INTERPOSITIVE
- "Playing a Tough Babe" - an interview with actress Laura Albert
- "Playing Hardball" - an interview with actor Ken Carpenter

The Severed Arm
While camping, a group of friends become trapped in a cave. Desperate and starving, they draw straws to decide which one should suffer the severing of his arm so that the others can eat. But no sooner than making this fateful amputation, they're rescued, though their unfortunate victim has been driven hopelessly mad by the experience. Years later, the survivors have all moved on with their lives, that is until someone with a very sharp axe to grind begins stalking them and chopping off their arms, one by one...
A drive-in and home video staple, thanks in large part to a notorious title and insane concept, Tom Alderman's THE SEVERED ARM is a stylish and atmospheric murder mystery/proto-slasher. Co-starring Deborah Walley (Beach Blanket Bingo), Marvin Kaplan (Wild at Heart) and Vince Martorano (The Candy Snatchers) and featuring expectedly excellent cinematography by Robert Maxwell (Blood Mania, The Centerfold Girls), Vinegar Syndrome brings THE SEVERED ARM to disc, fully uncut and in its very first authorized edition, from a brand new 4K scan of its original 35mm camera negative.

The Scare Film Archives Volume 1: Drug Stories!
The American Genre Film Archive (AGFA) represents the world's largest theatrical catalog of exploitation cinema. Their home video line presents a diverse selection of movies, ranging from new preservations of classics from the vast library of Something Weird to the wildest in shot-on-video (SOV) titles. Vinegar Syndrome's sister company, OCN Distribution, is thrilled to be representing this diverse and unique home video line!
What's the best way to prevent young people from destroying their lives in a downward spiral of drug-fueled jubilation? THE SCARE FILM ARCHIVES VOLUME 1: DRUG STORIES! collects the best-of-the-best educational drug-scare films from the twentieth century. Lovingly curated from Something Weird's vaults, AGFA and Something Weird are thrilled to present 2K preservations of these bad trips, bummers, and flip-outs, all from original 16mm prints that were inflicted upon children in classrooms across the country.
