Vinegar Syndrome has confirmed that it will add two new titles to its Blu-ray catalog: Paul Schrader's Patty Hearst (1988) and Joel Bender's The Immortalizer (1989). The two releases will be available for purchase on June 30.

Synopsis: In 1974, Hearst Publications heiress Patricia Hearst (Natasha Richardson) was kidnapped by a group of radical revolutionaries named The Symbionese Liberation Army. As her ordeal dragged on, Hearst slowly began to transform from unwilling victim into an accomplice to her kidnapper's cause, resulting in a notorious and violent crime spree that shook the very fabric of American culture, and soon began to beg the question of how much of her involvement was, in fact, forced…

Synopsis: Gregg assumed it would be just another night out with friends, but things take an unexpected turn when he, his brother, and their girlfriends are kidnapped by the crazed Dr. Divine. The doctor, a twisted genius, has developed a radical method of life extension – transplanting the brains of his elderly and very wealthy patients into the bodies of the young. When Gregg escapes from the doctor's lair, but finds the local police unwilling to accept his story, he realizes that it'll be up to him to put an end to the doctor's diabolical 'treatments,' or run the risk of him and his friends losing their heads…literally.
Directed by career genre filmmaker, Joel Bender (Midnight Kiss, Gas Pump Girls), THE IMMORTALIZER revels in bloody surgical sequences, ubiquitous nudity, and a 'mad doctor' story which plays thematically as though the film were a 1930s poverty row horror feature updated for the late 80s exploitation market.
