For the week that ended on April 11th, Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker remained at the number-one spot on both the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. The controversial finale to the "Skywalker Saga," The Rise of Skywalker made a big box-office splash following its December release. While the film scored mediocre critical notices (it has a 53% approval rating on Metacritic), it still grossed over $1 billion worldwide on top of its estimated $275-million production budget. This week, The Rise of Skywalker had a strong HD market share of 74%.

Next up on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales rankings was Universal Studios Home Entertainment's Dolittle. This re-imagining of the Doctor Dolittle story struggled to connect with critics or audiences last January. The film scored terrible critical reactions (it has a 26% approval rating on Metacritic), and it then went on to gross $77 million domestically on top of its estimated $175-million production budget. Dolittle had a Blu-ray market share of 53% and sold 39% as many Blu-rays and 55% as many total units as The Rise of Skywalker.

Finally, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Academy Award-winning Little Women rounded out the top three on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists. Director Greta Gerwig's interpretation of the iconic Louisa May Alcott novel scored well for its distributors last December. The film scored terrific critical plaudits (it has a 91% approval rating on Metacritic) and then grossed almost $206 million worldwide on top of its estimated $40-million production budget. Little Women had an HD market share of 55% and sold 26% as The Rise of Skywalker. Regarding the overall package-media list, the film and sold 35% as many total units as the Star Wars sequel.
