July-October Wave of Catalog Blu-ray Titles from Sony

According to information posted on the Wal-Mart website, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has revealed that it will bring fifteen catalog titles to Blu-ray between July 28 and October 20. The list of titles features movies from all genres, from romance ('About Last Night…''Punch-Drunk Love') to western ('Silverado', 'The Quick and the Dead') to science fiction ('Starman').

No technical specs have been announced at this time, though you can expect the typical 1080p video accompanied by a Dolby TrueHD soundtrack from the studio.

The full list of titles with their release dates is as follows:

• July 28: 'A River Runs Through It'
• August 11: 'About Last Night…', 'Blue Thunder', 'Starman', 'St. Elmo's Fire'
• August 18: 'Go'
• September 1: 'Labyrinth'
• September 8: 'The Quick and the Dead', 'Silverado'
• September 15: 'Easy Rider', 'Punch-Drunk Love'
• October 13: 'The Craft', 'Wolf / Dracula / Frankenstein Trilogy' ('Wolf', 'Bram Stoker's Dracula', 'Mary Shelley's Frankenstein')
• October 20: 'Freedomland', 'Snatch'

At least for the moment, 'Wolf' and 'Mary Shelley's Frankenstein' won't be available separately.
