Kino Lorber have detailed their upcoming Blu-ray release of William Castle's Let's Kill Uncle (1966), and confirmed that they are preparing releases of The Choirboys (1977) and Never Steal Anything Small (1959).

Let's Kill Uncle

Synopsis: From cult filmmaker/producer William Castle, the director of House of Haunted Hill, The Tingler, 13 Ghosts, Homicidal, Strait-Jacket and The Night Walker comes this wonderful horror comedy starring Nigel Green (The Ipcress File). A 12-year-old orphan (Pat Cardi, Horror High) who has just inherited a fortune is trapped on an island with his uncle, a former British intelligence commander who intends to kill him. A young girl (Mary Badham, Scout Finch of To Kill a Mockingbird) is the boy's only ally against his sarcastic and sadistic uncle, who uses hypnotism, a pool of sharks, fire, and poisonous mushrooms as weapons. Beautifully shot by Harold Lipstein (Never Steal Anything Small).

Special Features and Technical Specs:
  • NEW 2K RESTORATION OF THE FILM
  • NEW Audio Commentary by Film Historians Kat Ellinger and Mike McPadden
  • Theatrical Trailer 1
  • Theatrical Trailer 2
  • Optional English subtitles for the main feature
The Choirboys

Synopsis: Roscoe Rules (Tim McIntire) is exactly the kind of cop you don't want on the job. When he's not getting drunk after hours, he is insulting the citizens he supposedly serves. And his cop buddies are no better, from the always-angry Sam (Don Stroud) to the geeky Harold (James Woods), who constantly makes questionable busts of prostitutes. When a member of the group mistakenly shoots a gay man in a park while the gang is out carousing, everyone closes ranks to cover up the crime. Directed by Robert Aldrich.

Never Steal Anything Small

Synopsis: A singing, dancing Irish racketeer (James Cagney) steals a lawyer's (Roger Smith) wife (Shirley Jones) to control New York's waterfront. Directed by Charles Lederer.
