Paramount Pictures, in association with Fathom Events, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mel Gibson's Braveheart (1995) with a theatrical rerelease and brand new 4K Blu-ray SteelBook Edition of the film.
Braveheart will be screened in select theaters across the nation on March 22 and 23.
The 4K Blu-ray SteelBook Edition will be available for purchase on May 5.
Synopsis: A richly detailed saga of power, passion, and the fight for freedom with Mel Gibson as William Wallace, a bold Scotsman who rallies his countrymen to liberation from oppressive English rule. Winner of five Academy Awards®, including Best Picture, Braveheart is "the most sumptuous and involving historical epic since Lawrence of Arabia" (Rod Lurie, Los Angeles Magazine).
