Blue Underground has revealed that it is preparing its first 4K Blu-ray release, which will be Lucio Fulci's cult thriller Zombie a.k.a. Zombie Flesh Eaters (1979), starring Tisa Farrow, Ian McCulloch, Richard Johnson, Al Cliver, and Auretta Gay. The release is expected to arrive on the market later this year.
Complete technical specs have not yet been announced, but the label has confirmed that the 4K Blu-ray will offer Dolby Vision and HDR presentations of the 4K restoration, as well as a brand new Dolby Atmos mix.
Synopsis: In Italy, it was considered the 'unofficial sequel' to Dawn of the Dead. In England, it was known as Zombie Flesh Eaters and banned as obscene. In America, it was called Zombie and advertised with the depraved tag line "WE ARE GOING TO EAT YOU!"
