For the week that ended on February 1st, Paramount Home Media Distribution's Terminator: Dark Fate debuted at the number-one spot on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. Yet another attempt to try and kickstart the Terminator franchise, Dark Fate ultimately struggled to connect with critics and audiences. The film netted largely mediocre critical reviews (it has a 54% approval rating on Metacritic), and it then grossed just over $62 million on top of its estimated $185-to-196-million production budget. This week, Dark Fate had a very good HD market share of 65%.

Next up on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales rankings was Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Zombieland: Double Tap. Director Ruben Fleischer's long-awaited sequel to the popular 2009 horror comedy, Double Tap was a modest success for its distributor. Yes, the film scored mediocre critical marks (it has a 55% approval rating on Metacritic), but it grossed just under $123 million on top of its estimated $42-48-million production budget. Double Tap had a good Blu-ray market share of 61% and sold 37% as many Blu-rays and 39% as many total units as the Terminator sequel.

Finally, Warner Home Entertainment's Joker rounded out the top three on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists. One of the year's most divisive, controversial features, this violent character study of the Crown Prince of Crime was a major hit following its October premiere. Despite fairly mixed critical notices (it has a 58% approval rating on Metacritic), it still earned over $1 billion worldwide on top of its estimated $55-70-million production budget and received eleven Oscar nominations, including Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Picture. Joker had a solid HD market share of 61% and sold 26% as many Blu-rays and 27% as many total units as Terminator.
