Digital Leisure has announced that they will bring the sequel '
Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp' to Blu-ray on June 2nd. You play the role of Dirk the Daring as he tries to save Princess Daphne once again. The legendary game (originally released on LaserDisc) has been mediculously restored via a frame-by-frame restoration and remastered in stunning 1080p high definition video. The soundtrack has also been remixed into a new 5.1 mix.
From Don Bluth Sstudios - creators of other video based games such as '
Dragon's Lair' and '
Space Ace', as well as numerous movies including 'An American Tail' and 'The Land Before Time' - this interactive movie requires the user to guide the character using their Blu-ray Disc player remote or PS3 controller. Like previous Digital Leisure releases, viewers also have the option of watching the feature with no interaction and even checking out special interviews and commentary from the creators.
