American Outlaws
Synopsis: After the Civil War ends, Confederate soldiers Frank (Gabriel Macht) and Jesse James (Colin Farrell) return home with the three Younger brothers to learn that railroad baron Thaddeus Rains (Harris Yulin) is trying to drive Missouri citizens out of their homes. When both families resist, the James boys' mother (Kathy Bates) is murdered. Furious, the two groups of brothers team up for a series of robberies designed to hurt the railroad. Detective Allan Pinkerton (Timothy Dalton) pursues them.

Synopsis: Valerie Alston (Joanne Whalley-Kilmer) is placed on the jury for the criminal case of mob boss Rusty Pirone (Armand Assante), and it's not long before she is threatened by Pirone's right-hand man, Tom Vesey (William Hurt). Though it is clear to the 11 other members of the jury that Pirone is guilty, Valerie must convince them to find him innocent. If she doesn't, her son will be killed. Valerie is only following Vesey's orders out of fear, but her conscience begins to haunt her.
