For the week that ended on November 23rd, Universal Studios Home Entertainment's Hobbs & Shaw kept its number-one position on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. A spinoff of the hit Fast & Furious franchise starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham's brawling buddy pair, Hobbs & Shaw was a fairly solid hit during the Summer 2019 season. Even though the film scored mediocre critical notices (it has a 60% rating on Metacritic), it grossed almost $759 million worldwide on top of its estimated $200-million production budget. This week, Hobbs & Shaw had an HD market share of 51%.

Next up on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales rankings was Paramount Home Media Distribution's Dora and the Lost City of Gold. This live-action adaptation of the popular Nickelodeon cartoon Dora The Explorer was a sleeper hit this August. The film scored decent critical notices (it has a 63% rating on Metacritic) and went on to gross over $119 million worldwide on top of its estimated $49-million production budget. Dora and the Lost City of Gold had a Blu-ray market share of 56% and sold 91% as many Blu-rays and 82% as many total units as Hobbs & Shaw.

Finally, Walt Disney Home Entertainment's 2019 version of The Lion King rounded out the top three on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists. The latest live-action opportunity for Disney to remake its animated back catalog, The Lion King was one of 2019's biggest success stories. Although the film scored mediocre critical notices (it has a 55% rating on Metacritic), it ended up grossing over $1.6 billion worldwide on top of its estimated $250-260-million production budget. The Lion King had an HD market share of 51% and sold 57% as many Blu-rays and total units as Hobbs & Shaw.
