For the week that ended on November 9th, Universal Studios Home Entertainment's Hobbs & Shaw debuted at the number-one spot on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. A spinoff of the hit Fast & Furious franchise starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham's brawling buddy pair, Hobbs & Shaw was a fairly solid hit during the Summer 2019 season. Even though the film scored mediocre critical notices (it has a 60% rating on Metacritic), it grossed almost $759 million worldwide on top of its estimated $200-million production budget. This week, Hobbs & Shaw had an HD market share of 57%.

Next up on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales rankings was Walt Disney Home Entertainment's 2019 version of The Lion King. The latest live-action opportunity for Disney to remake its animated back catalog, The Lion King was one of 2019's biggest success stories. Although the film scored mediocre critical notices (it has a 55% rating on Metacritic), it ended up grossing over $1.6 billion worldwide on top of its estimated $250-260-million production budget. The Lion King had a decent Blu-ray market share of 61% and sold 37% as many Blu-rays and 35% as many total units as Hobbs & Shaw.

Finally, Disney's Toy Story 4 rounded out the top three on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists. Ostensibly the final film in the Toy Story franchise, this fourth entry connected with both critics and audience last July. The film garnered very strong critical notices (it has a Metacritic score of 84%), and it earned over $1 billion worldwide on top of its estimated $200 million production budget. Toy Story 4 had an HD market share of 58% and sold 21% as many Blu-rays and total units as Hobbs & Shaw.
