Australian label Via Vision Entertainment has announced its December batch of Blu-ray releases. Amongst them are Mr. Holland's Opus (1995), Channel Zero – The Complete Series, and Bad Blood: Season One.
Mr. Holland's Opus
Synopsis: Composer Glenn Holland (Richard Dreyfuss) believes that he'll eventually write a transcendent piece of music, but in the meantime he's taken a job at an Oregon high school. Though at first the job frustrates him, and his unconventional methods often draw the ire of the straight-laced vice principal (W.H. Macy), Mr. Holland grows to love his students as the "temporary" position stretches into a decades-long career -- and in the end, they reveal just how much they love him back.

Bad Blood: Season One
Synopsis: Based on the book Business or Blood: Mafia Boss Vito Rizzuto's Last War, by Antonio Nicaso and Peter Edwards, this sprawling crime drama follows the true story of the Rizzuto family and its associates, who presided over organised crime in Montreal for decades. In the early 2000s, Vito Rizzuto is at the peak of his influence and power, while he keeps City Hall and the police in his pocket, and maintains peace between the Rizzuto family, the bikers, the Irish, the Haitians and other Montreal gangs. But his power comes crashing down when Vito is arrested on an extradition order afor suspected involvement in a 1981 triple killing. In the Rizzuto home, Nicolo Rizzuto, Vito's right-hand man Declan Gardinier, and associates have a meeting to decide the acting boss for the family while Vito is imprisoned. Vito's son, Nico Jr. expresses his desire to assume his father's role, much to the objection of the family.

In the wake of an alien invasion, a family fights to stay together in a new world order. In an effort to get their son back, Will (Josh Holloway) has been cooperating with the new Transitional Authority and now knows about his wife Katie's (Sarah Wayne Callies) alliance with the resistance. With her secret out and finding themselves on opposite sides of the battle, they may have jeopardised any hope of reuniting their family.

Channel Zero: The Complete Series
Synopsis: Channel Zero: Candle Cove centers on one man's obsessive recollections of a mysterious children's television program from the 1980's, and his suspicions of the role it may have played in a series of nightmarish events from his childhood.
Channel Zero: No-End House follows Margot, a young woman who, along with her friends, visits the No-End House – a bizarre house of horrors consisting of a series of increasingly disturbing rooms.
Channel Zero: Butcher's Block follows Alice Woods and her schizophrenic sister Zoe who have moved to a small town to start over. On the outskirts of town lies Butcher's Block, a hellish neighborhood where junkies roam and lawlessness abounds.
Channel Zero: The Dream Door follows newlyweds Jillian and Tom, who have each brought secrets into their marriage. When they discover a strange door in their basement, those secrets start to threaten their relationship — and their lives.
