New Line Home Entertainment in conjunction with Warner Home Video has announced that they will bring the 2009 remake '
Friday the 13th: Killer Cut' to Blu-ray on June 16th, day-and-date with the DVD release. The title, which includes both the theatrical and extended "killer cut" of the film via seamless branching, will be presented in 1080p VC-1 accompanied by a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack.

The DVD copy will feature either the theatrical version or the extended cut (not both) and only two special features, making the Blu-ray much more appetizing to those fans of the horror series.
