Vinegar Syndrome has confirmed that it is preparing two new catalog titles for Blu-ray release: Mario Azzopardi's Canuxploitation classic
Deadline (1984) and John N. Carter's tropical slasher
Zombie Island Massacre (1984). The two releases are expected to arrive on the market early next year.

Synopsis: A horror film about a screenwriter who loses the ability to distinguish between his fantasy world and the real world, with disastrous consequences. As he ruminates on his place in any world and loses his grip, he also loses his wife and his children's respect, and critics tear him apart. The final undoing of this screenwriter is a deadline that must be met at all costs -- costs that perhaps are too great. Starring Stephen Young, Sharon Masters, Marvin Goldhar, and Cindy Hinds.
Zombie Island Massacre
Synopsis: Americans on vacation in the Caribbean take a tour of a nearby island at night and watch a local voodoo ritual. Soon after, they find themselves stranded on the island and under attack by unseen foes. One by one they meet violent ends. Malabimba (1979) will be sourced from a brand new 2K restoration of the fully uncut 98 minute version.
Synopsis: After the matriarch of once rich and influential aristocratic Caroli family dies, her nearly bankrupt family decides to hold a seance in their decrepit castle and contact her spirit. Unfortunately, they contact instead the malicious and possibly demonic spirit of their evil, hedonistic and decadent late cousin Lucrezia that, after assaulting and messing a bit with those present at the summoning, ends up possessing the dead woman's virginal teenage daughter Bimba. Bimba suddenly becomes overtly sexual and starts acting out in a completely unhinged, aggressive and sexually provocative manner in front of her family and their guests, all while brutally insulting them. She tries to satisfy her confusing demonic urges with masturbation but quickly moves on to seducing those around her.
