Scream Factory: Upcoming Releases Detailed

Scream Factory has detailed four upcoming Blu-ray releases: To the Devil a Daughter (1976), Murders in the Rue Morgue (1932), Feast of the Seven Fishes (2019), and The Abominable Snowman (1957).

The Abominable Snowman

Synopsis: Botanist Dr. John Rollason (Peter Cushing) decides to join the exploration team of crass, American showman Tom Friend (Forrest Tucker) on a dangerous expedition into the Himalayas to search for the legendary Yeti. Soon after setting up camp, the group is attacked by a large beast which is shot by trapper Ed Shelley (Robert Brown) and stored in a cave to attract a live specimen.

Before long, the strain of the expedition is felt and the party begins to lose control. To his growing terror, Dr. Rollason suspects that the race of giant "monsters" not only exists, but is capable of invading the thoughts of human beings! A smart, suspenseful and scary film that will set both your imagination and your fear of the unknown running wild, The Abominable Snowman is "definitely one of the best of Hammer's earlier outings" (The Telltale Mind).

Feast of the Seven Fishes

Synopsis: Just days before Christmas, 1983, the Oliverio family readies their Feast of the Seven Fishes, an Italian tradition stretching back to the old country. Amidst the festivities, Tony Oliverio, a young man with big dreams and an even bigger heart, is yearning to find love. When he meets the gorgeous Ivy Leaguer Beth, romance blossoms, and it looks like Tony's holiday might make a turn for the better! Murders in the Rue Morgue

Synopsis: Based on the story by Edgar Allan Poe, Murders In The Rue Morgue is a haunting atmospheric thriller heavily influenced by the German Expressionist classic, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, and features Bela Lugosi in one of his most sinister roles!

A deranged scientist, Dr. Mirakle (Lugosi), searches Paris for a "prospective bride" for his pet gorilla. Inviting young ladies to his laboratory, he injects his victims with gorilla blood and then disposes of their ravaged bodies through a trapdoor. Mirakle finally settles on a beautiful woman to be the mate of the gorilla, kidnapping her from her fiancé, Pierre Dupin. But just as the young lady is about to be sacrificed in the name of unholy science, a frantic Dupin locates his betrothed and tries to rescue her from Mirakle's unspeakable evolutionary experiments.
