Kino Lorber have detailed their upcoming Blu-ray release of Fred Schepisi's film
IceMan (1984), starring Timothy Hutton, Lindsay Crouse, John Lone, Josef Sommer, and David Strathairn. The release will be available for purchase on December 10.
Synopsis: On an Arctic expedition, Stanley Shephard (Timothy Hutton) discovers "Charlie" (John Lone), a Neanderthal man frozen in ice. With a team of scientists, Shephard revives Charlie and learns that he has been cryogenically suspended for 40,000 years. Stanley grows close to Charlie as he observes the man and learns about his prehistoric culture -- but when the media catches on to the discovery, Stanley must protect Charlie from fellow scientists who want to use his corpse for scientific research.
