Kino Video have announced their December batch of Blu-ray titles. Amongst them are Yves Boisset's Dog Day, Antonia Bird's Mad Love, and Burt Reynolds' Stick.

Dog Day

Synopsis: An American bank robber on the run in France is held hostage by a family of depraved farmers. Directed by Yves Boisset. Starring Lee Marvin, Miou-Miou, Jean Carmet, Victor Lanoux, and David Bennent.

STREET DATE: DECEMBER 3.

Stick

Synopsis: Synopsis: After getting out of jail, car thief Ernest "Stick" Stickley (Burt Reynolds) witnesses the murder of his friend Rainy (Jose Perez) during a drug deal. To avoid getting killed by the same thugs, who work for mobster Chucky (Charles Durning), Stick gets a job as a chauffeur for millionaire Barry Braham (George Segal) and lies low. As he gets used to his new routine, Stick woos Barry's financial consultant, Kyle McClaren (Candice Bergen), but must fight back when Chucky's men come after him.

Konga

Synopsis: A botanist's experiments with primates and plant serum transform a lovable chimpanzee into a giant killer gorilla.Directed by John Lemont. Starring Michael Gough, Margo Johns, Jess Conrad, Claire Gordon, and Austin Trevor.

The Magic Sword

Synopsis: Devious wizard Lodac (Basil Rathbone) abducts Princess Helene (Anne Helm). Young Sir George (Gary Lockwood) vows to rescue the fair maiden and win her heart in the process. George, who apprentices for a bumbling witch, nabs an enchanted sword from his boss's collection and makes off for Lodac's lair, only to find that the much more experienced Sir Branton (Liam Sullivan) is already on the case. Just as George tries to fend off Lodac and Branton, his secret weapon runs out of magic.

She

Synopsis: In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, two villagers vow to rescue a woman who has been kidnapped by the evil warlord Nork. Their quest leads them to the domain of the barbarian goddess She, where women rule and men are slaves. They take She hostage and force her to guide them across a landscape populated by mutants, monsters, mad scientists and villains with psychic powers before they finally reach Nork's castle. Directed by Avi Nesher. Starring Sandahl Bergman, David Goss, Quin Kessler, Harrison Muller, and Elena Wiedermann.

Blue Collar

Synopsis: When Detroit autoworkers Zeke Brown (Richard Pryor), Jerry Bartowski (Harvey Keitel) and Smokey James (Yaphet Kotto) decide to rob their own union, they are initially disappointed by the relatively small haul. However, upon closer inspection, the three amateur thieves discover that they have made off with something potentially much more valuable than money: the union's ledger, filled with bogus figures and links to organized crime. Should they blackmail the union or go to the authorities?

IceMan

Synopsis: On an Arctic expedition, Stanley Shephard (Timothy Hutton) discovers "Charlie" (John Lone), a Neanderthal man frozen in ice. With a team of scientists, Shephard revives Charlie and learns that he has been cryogenically suspended for 40,000 years. Stanley grows close to Charlie as he observes the man and learns about his prehistoric culture -- but when the media catches on to the discovery, Stanley must protect Charlie from fellow scientists who want to use his corpse for scientific research.

Aces: Iron Eagle III

Synopsis: Veteran Air Force pilot Charles "Chappy" Sinclair (Louis Gossett Jr.) is drawn into international intrigue when Anna Morales (Rachel McLish), the sister of a recently deceased friend, asks for his help. Anna reveals that her brother died at the hands of Gustav Kleiss (Paul Freeman), an ex-Nazi who runs a drug ring in Peru and is holding her father hostage. Sinclair enlists a number of his air-show buddies to join the mission, and they depart for Peru to take on the ruthless criminal.

Synopsis: A skydiving instructor is plunged into the world of international espionage when one of his pupils falls to her death. When he is blamed for her death and his training centre is closed down, he becomes suspicious and decides to investigate. Directed by Deran Sarafian. Starring Charlie Sheen, Nastassja Kinski, James Gandolfini, Christopher McDonald, and Melvin Van Peebles.

A Stranger Among Us

Synopsis: A tough New York cop is put on the case of a young Hasidic diamond cutter who has gone missing with a fortune in gems, but the apparently open-and-shut case becomes more complicated when his body turns up - minus the diamonds. When she must go undercover in the Hasidic community to track down the killer, the cop experiences events which change her life. Directed by Sidney Lumet. Playing God

White Squall
