During the weekend, Kino Lorber confirmed that they are planing to bring to Blu-ray four new titles: Claude Sautet's Max and the Junkmen a.k.a. Max et les ferrailleurs (1971), Arnold Laven's Anna Lucasta (1958), Leo Penn's A Man Called Adam (1966), and George Axelrod's Lord Love a Duck (1966).

Max and the Junkmen

Synopsis: An ex-magistrate (Michel Piccoli) intent on justice joins the police force, then sets up a prostitute (Romy Schneider) and her small-time criminal boyfriend (Bernard Fresson). Cinematography by René Mathelin (The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe). Music by Philippe Sarde (Barocco). REMASTERED by STUDIOCANAL.

Lord Love a Duck

Synopsis: An unusually gifted high school senior, Alan Musgrave (Roddy McDowall), decides to direct his mental powers toward helping an innocent new student, Barbara Ann Greene (Tuesday Weld), achieve her goal of popularity. With Alan's guidance, Barbara climbs the social ladder, finds a husband and eventually gets a shot at a glamorous movie career. Anna Lucasta

Synopsis: Anna Lucasta (Eartha Kitt) has been walking the streets in San Diego since being thrown out of home, at 19, by her alcoholic father, Joe (Rex Ingram). She's estranged from her family, but when her father and brother-in-law (Frederick O'Neal) see greedy potential in an arranged marriage to affluent Rudolph (Henry Scott), Anna is called back home.
