Kino Video have announced five new titles for Blu-ray release: Clive Donner's The Nude Bomb (1980), Roger Vadim's Dangerous Love Affairs a.k.a. Les Liaisons Dangereuses (1959), Patrice Chéreau's Intimacy (2001), Bertrand Blier's Buffet Froid a.k.a. Cold Cuts (1979), and Kyle Cooper's New Port South (2001).

Buffet Froid a.k.a. Cold Cuts

Synopsis: Buffet Froid has logic that is both twisted and stark: a husband befriends his wife's murderer, a high-ranking official plans his own assassination, a lost knife is found in the belly of a subway passenger. Together with the Chief of Police and a murderer who is afraid of the dark, Gerard Depardieu is drawn into an inescapable complicity of murder, treachery and paranoia which draws him closer to a fateful end. Also starring Bernard Blier, Jean Carmet, Marco Perrin, and Carole Bouquet.

The Nude Bomb

Synopsis: Join Don Adams as Maxwell Smart (aka Agent 86) of the original Get Smart TV series in The Nude Bomb! Agent 86 is assigned to battle an evil villain who is threatening to drop a "nude bomb" capable of destroying all the fabric in the world. With only 48 hours, some voluptuous assistants, and his questionable spy skills to help him, Maxwell Smart certainly has his hands full trying to save the world from severe nakedness! The Nude Bomb is a hilarious spoof that is sure to leave you in stitches.

Les Liaisons Dangereuses a.k.a. Dangerous Love Affairs

Synopsis: Juliette (Jeanne Moreau) and her husband, Valmont (Gérard Philipe), are an attractive, much-gossiped-about couple who help one another find lovers on the side in order to keep their own relationship interesting. Neither Juliette nor Valmont has ever taken these dalliances seriously, until Juliette's newest beau ditches her for the chaste Cecile (Jeanne Valerie). Scorned, Juliette enlists Valmont to seduce Cecile and ruin her good name, but the plan results in betrayal and violence. Cinematography by Marcel Grignon (Taxi for Tobruk, Greed in the Sun).

Intimacy

Synopsis: What starts out as a weekly anonymous tryst between a divorced man and a married woman turns into a searing portrait of loneliness and emotional need. Directed by Patrice Chereau, Intimacy won the Golden Bear for the Best Film at the 2001 Berlin Film Festival where lead actress Kerry Fox also won Best Actress Award. Based on Hanif Kureishi's controversial novel, Intimacy was selected to play at the Sundance and New York Film Festivals. Also starring Mark Rylance, Susannah Harker, Timothy Spall, and Marianne Faithfull. Unrated version.

New Port South

Synopsis: It's students versus faculty in this provocative thriller that entertains all the way to the surprise ending! A high school senior named Maddox has watched as his classmates' freedoms have been stripped away by a domineering faculty at his suburban Chicago school. Then, when he hears the story of John Stanton, a student who rebelled against the system and was institutionalized under suspicious circumstances, he decides it's time to act. Together with his best friends, Clip and Chris, Maddox sets a revolt in motion in the name of Stanton. But as the facts of Stanton's case begin to unravel, and as Maddox becomes increasingly obsessed with his cause, his friends start to suspect there's more than meets the eye.

The Ring (1927)

Synopsis: Jack (Carl Brisson) is a carnival-employed boxer; patrons pay cash to take him on in the ring, and he earns the nickname "One-Round" by giving them their money's worth with a quick knockout. His many victories have given him a big head and a bigger mouth, so when heavyweight champion Bob (Ian Hunter) shows up in town, he decides to shut Jack up by challenging him to a match. As the fight nears, Jack's fiancée (Lilian Hall-Davis) develops eyes for Bob, giving the bout a bitter edge.

The Farmer's Wife (1928)

Synopsis: Containing many of his cinematic touches, this enjoyable and rustic 1928 silent comedy explores the exploits of farmer Samuel Sweetland who is unsuccessful at finding himself a bride. What he doesn't know is he is secretly loved by his devoted housekeeper. Stars Jameson Thomas and Lillian Hall-Davis.

Champagne (1928)

Synopsis: Betty (Betty Balfour), the rebellious daughter of a millionaire (Gordon Harker), decides to marry the penniless Jean, against her father's will. She runs away to France and soon after starts living a life of luxury on the profits from her father's business. But her father decides to put a stop to her behavior by pretending his business crashed.

The Manxman (1929)

Synopsis: In this silent, romantic melodrama, Hitchcock explores the story of a fisherman named Pete and a lawyer named Philip. The two have been best friends since childhood, and now both are in love with the same woman, the beautiful Kate. Made in 1929, this was Hitchcock's last silent film. Stars Carl Brisson, Malcolm Keen and Anny Ondra.

The Skin Game (1931)

Synopsis: In this early Hitchcock outing, he sets two clans against each other in an English village as the old, long-established family squares off against the more "progressive" one. As their feud continues, each side becomes more determined, battling to the brink of disaster before coming to a resolution. Stars C.V. France, Helen Haye, and Edmund Gwenn.
