Count Three and Pray

Synopsis: After fighting for the Union during the Civil War, Luke Fargo (Van Heflin) is greeted with resentment when he returns home to his small southern town. Luke has a reputation as a rogue, but he's reinvented himself as a man of God and plans to fix up the town's damaged church. Recalling their romantic past, Georgina Decrais (Allison Hayes) tries to reclaim Luke. But, to the dismay of some suspicious townspeople, he concentrates on mentoring an unsophisticated young woman, Lissy (Joanne Woodward). Directed by George Sherman.

Major League II

Synopsis: The Cleveland Indians, an endearing assortment of oddballs who improbably won the division championship last season, have since lost their edge due to personal pursuits and the excesses of fame. Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn (Charlie Sheen) does lucrative endorsements, but his killer fastball is gone, while once-aggressive slugger Pedro Cerrano (Dennis Haysbert) has become a laid-back Buddhist. But, as the players realize they've all gone astray, they rally for a shot at the World Series. Directed by David S. Ward.

Major League: Back to the Minors

Synopsis: Minor league pitcher Gus Cantrell (Scott Bakula) is about to be put out to pasture when he is given the opportunity to do the next best thing: manage the South Carolina Buzz. The ailing baseball team is full of terrible players, but owner Roger Dorn (Corbin Bernsen) is banking on Cantrell to make a top-notch franchise out of them. While trying to work miracles on the wacky lineup, Cantrell butts heads with the uppity manager of the Minnesota Twins, resolving their conflict on the field. Directed by John Warren.
