The MVD Rewind Collection confirmed today that it is finalizing a brand new 4K remaster of Tony Maylam's cult futuristic action thriller Split Second (1992), starring Rutger Hauer, Kim Cattrall, Alastair Duncan, Michael J. Pollard, and Alun Armstrong.
A Blu-ray release is expected to be announced later this year, but the label has not yet revealed a preliminary street date.
Synopsis: In a futuristic London, the rising sea levels mean that large areas are under feet of water. Hauer plays a cop who previously lost his partner to some strange creature. Now the creature is back and is after him. Soundtrack by Stephen Parsons and Francis Haines.
