Kino Lorber have confirmed that they are preparing a Blu-ray release of Phil Karlson's film
The Secret Ways (1961), starring Richard Widmark, Sonja Ziemann, Charles Regnier, Walter Rilla, and Senta Berger. The release is expected to arrive on the market in the Fall.
Synopsis: During the 1956 Hungarian uprising, an American mercenary is hired to smuggle a Hungarian resistance leader out of Soviet-occupied Budapest. Cinematography by Max Greene (
