For the week that ended on May 11th, Warner Home Entertainment's The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part debuted at number one on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. This sequel to the hit animated comedy The LEGO Movie was a modest success following its North American release last February. The film garnered okay critical comments (it has a 65% rating on Metacritic), and it then went on to gross $105 million domestically on top of its estimated $99-million production budget. This week, The Second Part had a strong Blu-ray market share of 69%.

Next up on the Blu-ray-only sales ranking was another Warner title: Aquaman. Director James Wan's superhero adventure proved one of WB and DC's most successful comic-book adaptations following its theatrical release last December. Aquaman might have netted only so-so critical comments (it has a 55% rating on Metacritic), but it was a box-office juggernaut, grossing over $1.1 billion worldwide on top of its estimated $160-to-$200-million production budget. Aquaman had a very solid Blu-ray market share of 70% and sold 28% as many Blu-rays as The Second Part. On the overall package-media chart, the superhero adventure came in third place and sold 27% as many total units as the LEGO Movie follow-up.

Finally, Paramount Home Media Distribution's What Men Want rounded out the top three on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists. A gender-swapped remake of the hit Nancy Meyers comedy What Women Want, What Men Want proved a sleeper hit for its studio. Yes, the film netted often negative critical notices (it has a 49% rating on Metacritic), but it still went on to gross over $72 million worldwide on top of its estimated $20-million production budget. On the Blu-ray-only list, What Men Want had an HD market share of 40% and sold 20% as many Blu-rays as The LEGO Movie 2. Regarding the overall package-media list, the film came in second place where it sold 33% as many total units as The Second Part.
