Shout Factory and its genre arm Scream Factory have detailed eight upcoming Blu-ray releases: The Chosen (1977), The Alligator People (1959), Can't Stop the Music (1980), Jeffrey (1995), Boom! (1968), The Alligator People (1959), To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar (1995), and The Hunted (1995).

The Hunted

Synopsis: One night of passion. Centuries of hate. The battle has begun.

Christopher Lambert (Highlander) and Joan Chen (Twin Peaks) star in The Hunted, an explosive adventure from J.F. Lawton, the screenwriter of Under Siege.

Paul Racine (Lambert) is a high-powered executive living abroad in Japan. When he and his alluring companion, Kirina (Chen), find themselves the targets of assassins, Racine is ensnared in a web of intrigue and danger. His attacker, the ruthless Kinjo (John Lone, The Last Emperor), orders his minions to kill Racine, the only outsider ever to have seen his face. The Chosen

Synopsis: The World Will Be Destroyed ... It Is Written.

Kirk Douglas (The Fury) stars as industrialist Robert Caine, who with his son Angel (Simon Ward, Supergirl) is finally about to realize his biggest dream: a massive nuclear power plant in the Holy Land. But soon, Caine's dream becomes a horrific nightmare as person after person associated with the project meets a violent, gruesome death. When clues to this inexplicable turn of events point to the devil, Caine comes to the terrible realization that he might be linked to the Antichrist ... perhaps even through his unborn child.

Also known as Holocaust 2000 and Rain Of Fire, this riveting thriller in the vein of The Omen "is probably the best made and best budgeted of the Italian occult films of the 1970s" (The Science Fiction, Horror and Fantasy Film Review) and was directed by cult filmmaker Alberto De Martino (The Antichrist, Blood Link and Strange Shadows In An Empty Room).

Boom!

Jeffrey

The Alligator People

Synopsis: Terror in the Bayou! Her honeymoon turned into a nightmare!

A young wife (Beverly Garland, Swamp Women, It Conquered The World) is abandoned by her husband (Richard Crane, Mysterious Island, The Lone Ranger) on their wedding day. Distraught, she tracks him down to his ancestral home in the bayous of Louisiana, where, amid the swamps and the deadly undergrowth, she discovers a terrible secret.
