For the week that ended on March 30th, Warner Home Entertainment's Aquaman premiered at number one on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. Director James Wan's superhero adventure proved one of WB and DC's most successful comic-book adaptations following its theatrical release last December. Aquaman might have garnered only so-so critical comments (it has a 55% rating on Metacritic), but it was a box-office juggernaut, grossing over $1.1 billion worldwide on top of its estimated $160-to-$200-million production budget. This week, Aquaman had a very good Blu-ray market share of 66%.

Next up on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales rankings was Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. This animated Spider-Man adventure - which exists outside of the MCU's Tom Holland-starring iteration - proved an unlikely critical and commercial hit during its theatrical release last December. The film grossed over $189 million domestically on top of its estimated $90-million production budget, and it netted not only strong critical notices (it has a 87% rating on Metacritic) but also the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Into the Spider-Verse had a very solid Blu-ray market share of 67% and sold 19% as many Blu-rays and total units as Aquaman.

Finally, Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Mary Poppins Returns rounded out the top three on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists. The long-awaited follow-up to Disney's 1964 classic Mary Poppins, Mary Poppins Returns was a modest success following its holiday release. The film scored solid reviews (note its 66% Metacritic score) and grossed over $171 million domestically on top of its estimated $130-million budget. On the Blu-ray-only list, Mary Poppins Returns had a solid HD market share of 62% and sold 15% as many Blu-rays as Aquaman. Regarding the overall package-media list, the film sold 16% as many total units as the DC superhero feature.
