Scorpion Releasing has detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of Blake Edwards' film
The Tamarind Seed (1974), starring Julie Andrews, Omar Sharif, Anthony Quayle, Dan O'Herlihy, and Sylvia Syms. The release, which will be distributed by Kino Lorber, will be available for purchase on June 25.
Synopsis: A man and a woman on opposite sides of the Cold War fall for each other in this romantic drama from writer-director Blake Edwards (Breakfast at Tiffany's). Julie Andrews plays Judith, an assistant with the British Home Office who is on vacation in the Caribbean. Sparks fly when she meets Soviet military expert Feodor (Omar Sharif), but Judith's superiors question his intentions. With a mysterious Communist spy on the loose, Judith must decide who to trust-and who to love.

The label has also revealed that it is preparing a Blu-ray of Alan Beattie's crime drama
Stand Alone (1985), starring Charles Durning, Pam Grier, James Keach, Bert Remsen, Barbara Sammeth, and Willard E. Pugh. The release is expected to arrive on the market this summer.
Synopsis: A World War II hero (Charles Durning) sends his family away so he can hunt killer drug dealers, even if it's alone.
