Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck's film Never Look Away (2018), starring Tom Schilling, Sebastian Koch, Paula Beer, Saskia Rosendahl, and Oliver Masucci. The release will be available for purchase on May 14.
Never Look Away was the official submission of Germany for the 'Best Foreign Language Film category of the 91 Academy Awards in 2019.
Synopsis: Inspired by real events and spanning three eras of German history, NEVER LOOK AWAY tells the story of young art student, Kurt (Tom Schilling), who falls in love with classmate, Ellie (Paula Beer). Ellie's father and famous doctor, Professor Seeband (Sebastian Koch), is dismayed at his daughter's choice of boyfriend, and vows to destroy the relationship. What neither Kurt nor Ellie know is that their lives are already connected through a terrible crime Seeband committed decades ago.
