Magnolia Pictures and Magnet Releasing have provided us with an official domestic trailer for directors Pella Kagerman and Hugo Lilja's sci-fi thriller Aniara (2018), starring Emelie Jonsson, Bianca Cruzeiro, and Arvin Kananian. The film will open in select theaters across the nation on May 17.
A Blu-ray release of Aniara is expected to be announced later this year.
Plot: A spaceship carrying settlers to Mars is knocked off course, causing the consumption-obsessed passengers to consider their place in the universe. Based on a 1956 poem by Swedish writer Harry Martinson.
